But she still dismissed it later as me falling in my sleep and somehow bashing my head in 3 times on 3 different parts of the bathroom including two wall tiles and one floor. Later in the morning she found the bloody bathroom wall and found me passed out sleeping in my own bloodsoaked pillow. When I first crawled up to her room and said I can't go to school because something bashed my head in, my mom shouted at me and told me to go back to bed until it was time to wash up. Except the one time someone or something actually used my skull to ram the bathroom tiles. As a kid I also didn't tell my parents much because like her, they were skeptics, and were instantly dismissive of my claims.
THE CURSE OF LA LLORONA ENDING EXPLAINED MOVIE
I think the movie could've even worked as is, if only the characters reacted to what was happening around them in a more realistic/believable fashion. With a rich long-running legend like La Llorona, this could've been great. I'm glad I watched it, and I did have fun, but it could have been so much better. Whatever she might have thought kicked her door in should have put some fear in her though. He asks her what's going on and her response is "Oh nothing, you were just sleepwalking." At this point in the movie I don't think she was yet convinced that her family was experiencing something supernatural. She manages to shut the door again and lock the deadbolt, and then Chris comes out of the trance. Then the door slams against the chain a few times before getting kicked in. The other instance of a character acting waaay out of character was when Anna finds Chris at the door in a trance. And even if he decided to stay quiet and keep it secret for some reason, his little sister would've said something, right? Any kid would've said something to their mom after that shit. Characters acting way out of character to set up suspense/tension. After that experience, he responds by saying something like "Oh nothing, just imagining stuff I guess." The mom gets in and says something like "What's wrong".
THE CURSE OF LA LLORONA ENDING EXPLAINED WINDOWS
I knew it was going south as soon as the kid in the car didn't say anything to his mom about La Llorona grabbing/burning his arm, and then chasing him back to his car where she tried rolling the windows down repeatedly.
